The Commonwealth Government has announced the HomeBuilder initiative, which provides eligible owner-occupiers (including first home buyers) with a grant of $25,000 to build a new home or substantially renovate an existing home. The scheme will be administered by the relevant State or Territory Government and further information will be available from Revenue NSW for NSW applicants.
