The NSW Government has legislated changes affecting first home buyers from 1 July 2023. The First Home Buyers Choice (Property Tax) Scheme has been discontinued. The transfer duty exemption threshold for new and existing homes has increased to $800,000 and the concessional rate to $1,000,000. Click here for information on the changes.
